The first trailer for the new Will Smith & Jaden Smith sci-fi action adventure film ‘After Earth’ has premiered, and it looks surprisingly good for a M. Night Shyamalan film. 2013 is shaping up to look like a year that’s very heavy on epic sci-fi films, and I couldn’t be happier.

Prometheus | (Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star) TV Spots
The new ‘Prometheus’ Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star TV spots are haunting and effective in so many ways. Rarely do I actually pay attention to a TV spot for a film anymore, but these are cut so well and the music is perfect. I’ll also never tire of hearing Idris Elba’s saying “You know what this place is? … Hell” in his weird Louisiana-trucker accent.

The new full trailer for ’G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ continues to impress with some interesting story beats, but also some very impressive action set-peices and CGI. I guess Cobra really hates London for some reason. Channing Tatum returning as Duke looks to be the only thing that truly anchors ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ to the first film. I have sneaking feeling that ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ might just be the sleeper action film of the summer.

This film sold me with Adam Scott in a starring role, Jon Hamm, Megan Fox and Kirsten Wiig are just extra icing on the cake. I like how this film is essentially reuniting the majority of the ‘Bridesmaids’ cast for an indie comedy.
