nycedc: Pick up a free tree and learn how to care for it at Urban Garden Center at La Marqueta, East Harlem on Sunday morning, May 6th as part of MillionTreesNYC and New York Restoration Project’s Manhattan Tree Giveaway. Urban Garden Center will also celebrate its one-year anniversary at La Marqueta that weekend! Also stop by CB2’s DIY Saturdays at their Manhattan locations, where Urban Garden Center will teach you to create edgy flower arrangements and answer any garden questions you have as we enter the spring planting season. They will be at the Soho and Eastside stores April 28 and May 5th from 2-4pm. Discover more about La Marqueta, a historic community marketplace nestled in East Harlem and one of the City’s public markets.
