I live in NYC. I work for Vimeo. I like to cook. My wife likes sprinkles. I have a new(ish) daughter. Her name is Chloe. We don't know if she likes sprinkles yet.

This random little boy hopped on Chloe’s scooter today in the park. She loved it. She pulled him around for a bit.
My mom bought this artsy weird chair at the MoMA store. It’s made of 600 pegs of wood. It is oddly comfortable. Chloe LOVES taking the pegs out and my dad follows her around putting them back in. It’s like a never ending game of Whack-A-Mole. But funnier.
Linds and I are doing chores around the house and to my delight Chloe is watching the Mets beat up on the Twins. I think she likes baseball!

Chloe’s best friend has a Dora doll and Chloe loves it. But now that they are a bit older (they have been friends since they were about four months old) they sometimes fight over it. So we got Chloe her own Dora doll to keep the peace. We gave it to her a few nights ago and she FREAKED OUT.
And last night she held the doll’s hand while she slept. I’ve never seen her do that before. She held her hand the whole night. Crazy cute.
Took advantage of the spring weather today with a walk in the park before dinner.
Chloe absolutely, positively REFUSED to eat breakfast this morning until I lined up all of her Lego people in neat rows. It took me a while to understand what she wanted but once I did I lined them up and she ate her breakfast without incident. And she watched the Lego people the whole time she ate.
Not sure if this is something I should be concerned about.
Chloe does not use her highchair anymore. She refuses to sit in it opting instead for a booster seat at the table. Which is fine with us. But recently she will not eat unless “baby” is in the highchair with a bib. Cute.
But sometimes we forget to take baby out of the highchair. And I’ll be working at the table and glance over and Baby is staring at me.
“Judging. Watching. Look at the baby. Look at the baby.”
We went to Darien, CT today to visit some friends. Chloe dressed appropriately.
Yesterday was our five year wedding anniversary and we spent our first night away from Chloe. We both travel a lot for business but this is the first time we’ve both been away for a night at the same time. Chloe was a champ, had a friend over for dinner and slept great. And this is the pic we got this morning before we came home.
Big milestone for us and now we know we can (all) do this. Thinking two night trip next time.
