Actually I did read the Bible.  Twice.  Thanks to my fancy pants, left-wing Liberal Arts education.

At no time does Jesus state homosexuality is wrong.  The closest he comes is in Matthew 19:4 when he states: “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ “and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?’”

This is an affirmation of the love between a man and a women.  It is certainly not a condemnation of homosexuality.

As for abortion.  There is not one single mention of abortion in the Bible.  Not.  One.  In fact the Bible is very clear that killing a person is worse than killing an unborn baby.

Consider Exodus 21:12 - “Whoever strikes a person mortally shall be put to death. If it was not premeditated, but came about by an act of God, then I will appoint for you a place to which the killer may flee.”

And then Exodus 21:22 - “When people who are fighting injure a pregnant woman so that there is a miscarriage, and yet no further harm follows, the one responsible shall be fined what the woman’s husband demands, paying as much as the judges determine.”

So kill a person and you will be put to death.  Kill an unborn baby and you have to pay a fine.  Seems pretty clear to me which the Bible thinks is worse.
